Series to watch in quarantine

Welcome to another blog which I wrote under the influence of quarantine, I mean not just me, the whole world is under quarantine. I wouldn't blame you if you took the time to come here because you're bored. To take our mind off the negativity in the world we prefer to create a reality of our own, for that we watch TV. Ok lol.
Today I am going to share with you some of my favorite series of all times, which are sure to get your mind off of things.



1. GORTIMER GIBBON'S LIFE ON NORMAL STREET
      
        This is a prime video original. I saw it in 2018 and gosh I fell in love with it. It is just so..mysterious. It is about the normal street, which is in between a forest of shady trees and a lake. The name normal  may suggest that there is nothing out of the ordinary about this place but, that's where you're wrong.. It is also about 3 friends, Mel, Ranger and Gortimer. Gortimer is the helpful friend, he can't bear to see anyone in pain. Ranger, well,  he is the adventurous friend, he can be a bit mindless at times, but, he is a very loyal friend. Then, there is Mel, my favorite part about the show, she is a child genius and we share most of the same interests like science, literature, math. I genuinely can relate to her on many levels and she is JUST like me.





I highly recommend that you watch this show. One of the other things that I like about the series is the SOUNDTRACK. Gosh, it makes it feel that much more realistic and gives it a different feel.
One more thing, I really like this show also because it  has 3 seasons and so many episodes, so, when I started watching it I couldn't binge watch because it would not finish fast.



2. DECEPTION


         This show as aired on ABC in 2018. I honestly, am a big sucker for science fictions/ mind games/ magic type shows. The whole show was like a cliffhanger, though I am not going to give spoilers, but it is about Cameron Black, the most famous magician in the world. His tricks  are revealed when is twin brother Jonathan Black is framed for murder. Turns out he didn't kill the woman, it was an illusion and there was no evidence to prove it. The brothers had been outsmarted at their own game. They get a lot of criticism because nobody knew about Jonathan and they were both called liars.


I would highly recommend you to watch this show. Though there are only 13 episodes the show leaves on a very weird puzzling cliffhanger.



3. The Kicks


    This is AGAIN  a prime video original. This streamed in the year 2016. With only one season, like deception it leaves on a cliffhanger and you wanting for more. It is about how soccer beast Devin Burke tries to cope with shifting from Connecticut to southern California. Everything for her here, is well, different she starts to go to Kentville. While researching she found out that her school soccer came in second in their league. But, when she tried out, things were different, the players she was playing with were nowhere near skilled. It was later that she got to know the 2 was just a typo, they came 12th out of 13th in their league. Devin continues to make the team better and gain their acceptance.

   
  I really loved this series, also the soundtrack was amazing. Don't tell anyone, but I would actually put on an episode and skip to the middle soundtracks! It's a short show, but a lovely one. Please do watch it, I'm sure you will enjoy.

4.      Just Add Magic

  I am sure most of you already know about this show. Again, it is about three best friends
 who find who knows how many years old MAGIC cookbook. There are three friends Kelly, Hannah and Darbie.  They are the protectors and Kelly's grandma was the protector before.
They protectors alongwith Kelly's grandma Becky were Mama P and Miss Gina Silvers. They go through many dangers but,their friendship becomes stronger than ever.



This is an amazing series, even my parents loved it. It has 4 season and it has around 13 episodes. Another sequel to the series was released in January, 2020 Mystery City. It is about the next protector
who succeed Kelly, Darbie and Hannah. The soundtrack is amazing and it makes the series feel realistic. Now, even I want an adventure with  my friends.
   

NOW, I want you to chill, grab some coke, take a seat and start watching. Please do not go out, stay at home, stay safe. I'll tell you  this will be over before before you know it, we just gotta stick together and take a lesson out of it, TO RESPECT NATURE.

is femininity a social construct? yes. does it make sort of make sense even though it's a social construct? yes.  femininity is generally a set of attributes that is associated with a woman, it is of course, a cultural norm, but somehow it makes sense. every woman need not display femininity and men can also be open about their femininity. okay, enough justifying the topic of discussion for today. i want to talk about people embracing their feminine sides. as children, we have certain interests that may align with what we consider feminine interests, like putting make up on, painting your nails or even general skincare. instead of considering these attributes as a normal part of one's personality, we considered them a form of femininty or weakness.  i don't think it was me who considered it a form of weakness, it was the general perception of the crowd i was around. femininity is generally associated with fragility. women (and men) feel the need to conform to these norms of...
